Need XviD Editing Software

    I need a software that helps take the commercials out of a TV show I am recording and I would like to be able truncate part of the file.
    Freeware would be nice.

    avidemux can edit avi files. It'll edit without reencoding the video, I've used it before to edit out commercials.

    Videoredo or womble mpeg video wizard can edit out commercials either.
    They are free-to-try.
