Need your Help!!!

i bought a chinese apple ipod(nano). capacity of my ipod is 2GB but now it shows only 230MB. tried to restore systems settings by installing itunes software but it didn't recognize the ipod. is that because it is a chinese ipod???. i don't have the drivers CD with me thats the main problem!!!. does anyone know how to update and restore my chinese apple ipod(nano)??? the firmware verion of my ipod is

how can i update the firmware version of my ipod?? please try to help me!!!

 

if is a real ipod made by apple, try setting the ipod to disk mode, this is recovery mode by, holding the menu and center button, when the ipod turns off, imediately release the menu and hold play and center button until you see a check mark on your screen, connect it to the computer and see if that works, if not, you might have to look for the drivers on the net.
