Well my PSU decided to kick the bucket the other day along with both of my hard drives ... yeah, majorly depressing. While I am waiting for a replacment hard drive from the 'egg', I figured I'd start looking for a new PSU also from there. Here is where I get smothered what with all the different brands and wattages etc. Basicly, the PSU has to be able to power the following: AMD XP1900+ 3Gb's PC2100 RAM 2x Seagate 250Gb EIDE hdd's ATI Radeon 9800 Pro DVD/CDRW combo drive DVDRW drive Floppy 5x80mm case fans Soyo KT400 Dragon Lite mobo (I'll be using the onboard sound and LAN ports) The dead PSU was a Power Magic EP500 - which I assumed was a 500W PSU and was what I could afford at the time. Now I want something more reliable, with enough power for all the above, plus be able to cope with a water cooling unit which I will be adding in a few months. But when I pass the PC to my son, I will be taking out the water cooling unit to go in my one (I'll be building that next year). Budget is $150.00 max. PC is used for gaming and also involves a lot of graphical design work as well as DVD authoring. Not to bothered about SATA or SLI either, so something with a large number of molex's would be cool; saving me from having to use too many splitters. I think that's all the info needed, if not just ask and I'll be more than happy to answer. Thanks for the help and advice!
