Yes...Nero 5.5.10.56 Enterprise. I've been using it for years to burn cds and dvds. Most recently I converted about 300 old vinyl albums to wavs, separated each track, and then used Nero 5 and converted and burned to cd as cda so my dad could listen to them in his car. Anyway, the cd burner in my Plextor 708a finally gave out after so many burns. I replaced it with a Pioneer DVR-112D. Firmware is current at version 1.22, and the driver is Microsoft provided at install, version 5.1.2535.0. The machine is an XPHome, always fully updated. When I try to burn, or copy any type of cd (audio, data, etc.), I get an "Invalid field in parameter" error. For instance, when I try to burn an audio cd, the lead in burns ok, the tracks burn ok, but when the lead out is beign burned, I always get this error, ""Invalid field in parameter". I can burn using iTunes and Windows Media Player, but not Nero anymore. I've googled, etc. for a few days, but nothing seems to apply/help. Seems there are so many possibilities that many have tried and come up empty handed. Here's the latest log, and thanks if anyone can help me out: Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.59, size=160016 bytes, created 1/29/2003 9:37:36 PM Nero Version: 5.5.10.56 Recorder: Version: 1.22 - HA 1 TA 1 - 5.5.10.56 Adapter driver: HA 1 Drive buffer : 2000kB Bus Type : via Inquiry data (1) -> ATAPI, detected: ATAPI Connected to MMC as unknown drive with class-nr : 1 CD-ROM: Version: GDHG - HA 1 TA 0 - 5.5.10.56 Adapter driver: HA 1 Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ATAPI === Scsi-Device-Map === DiskPeripheral : WDC WD600BB-75CAA0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: On DiskPeripheral : ST3160023A atapi Port 0 ID 1 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163 atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112D atapi Port 1 ID 1 DMA: On ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: CmdQueuing : 1 CmdNotification: 2 WriteBufferSize: 83886080 (0) Byte ShowDrvBufStat : 0 EraseSpeed : 0 BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 1023MB (1047556kB) Free physical memory: 603MB (617536kB) Memory in use : 41 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Static Write Speed Table: 0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Enabled (1) Wizard: On 25.11.2007 Audio CD 9:39:11 AM #1 CDADOC -1 File Cdadoc.cpp, Line 1622 Audio item log info: Audio document burn settings: ============================= Burn mode: DAO, CD Text: On, Cache disk or network files: No, Cache small files: No, Cache files smaller than 65536 bytes.
