I have been using nero 6 on my desktop for a couple of years. I just got a laptop. I installed it there and it is telling me I need to purchase a dvd video plug in. I don't understand why I'm getting this message. I never got it when I installed on my desktop. I'm wondering if there is something on my laptop that is interfering and giving me this message. do you get this message when you try to use nero recode / nero vision express, if yes, this could be a serial number issue. In other words, the serial number you are using may not allow you access to it's dvd video plug-in. hope this helps
it seems to happen when i try to use vision express-which is what i use the most. it seems as if the program won't even load correctly. the box that pops up for nero doesn't look the same as the one i have on my desktop. i don't get any warning messages when i try to upload nero onto my laptop - but when i open nerovision - it doesn't seem to be the same program. thanks for your help.
i clicked open recode and got a message that said the license i had won't allow me to access the application.
