I have a problem. Whenever i want to burn a data compilation to a princo 2x dvd-r disk it gives me a few errors neer the end of the disk. one of the errors are: Fast user switching detected - buffer underrun error might occor. another error is a burner fixation error or something. Are the disks crappy or is my writer bugged.. I used Elby CloneDVD as well to burn a ISO that was created and i also get a error. I have burned previous dvd-r disks on this writer with no problem. I have tried a udf iso as well.

Please help :) It is appreciated

I've used Princo discs for a while now and have come to the conclusion they aren't that great for dvd video.

I've used them for data backups and other data tasks and there ok but don't use them for video.

I ran a test and there great up untill about the last 25% of the discs then theres problems.

It is definately the Disc's.When CompUSA had a sale 15 Disc's for $10.00,I bought 150 Disc's.At the time I thought a DVD is a DVD,but that's not so.The Disc's had plenty of bad blocks in them, about 50%.I've tried many different brands since then, and now I've settled on 2 brands.
Ritek GO4's have given me over 200 burns with no problems
ProDisc, which I recently tried have given me 30 straight clean burns.Incedently these are very economical.
I buy printable Dics's as they have a completely white face, gives you a nice surface to write on.
Or you can invest in a printer (Epson Stylus Photo R300 for about $190.00),prints right to Disc.Very Attractive labels
If u use this site much you will find most here preffer the Ritek Disc's
You can check the priceing at this reliable site www.supermediastore.com they deliver, check for the sales & u can even get free shipping,& some nice cases for your Disc's
    HOPE this helps

my 2 lil cents: Princo... not very compatible (at least on my xbox). I like using Verbatim Branded (2.4x preferred), also TDK 4x. Oh, Sony media isn't that good either :)

I had some problems with TDK to not as bad,but still had problems.Memorex!Problems here too.
I'm tellin YA!!!For the price U can't beat Ritek GO4 4x burn White-Printable surface. No stamped surface of any kind,u have the whole thing to write,or print on,& all for under a BUCK.You can even find free shipping
Another GOOD Disc is ProDisc, this site listed is a GOOD reliable site check it out.You get your shipment within 5 working days.
