Nero 6 Cover Designer

I am trying to print out a dvd movie cover using regular 8 1/2 by 11 paper. When I print landscape, the printer misses the last 1/2 inch of the cover even though there is white space left over to fill it in. Why won't the program print all the way. I did not change any settings and it looks perfect in my working area on the screen. I did fit to size, but it still misses the last 1/2 inch. Nothing is wrong with the program and printer. My first one came out successfully and the rest are no good. Any ideas?
