Hi, I've been using Nero 6 for ages without a problem, but suddenly it says that mp3's aren't supported. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it (it is an official cd-rom!), but it's still the same. I tried making a cd adding a track from a normal CD and again it says "this file format is not supported", what could have gone wrong and more importantly how can I get Nero up and running again??? I'm having a problem with Nero 7 reading ogg format mp3s. Is there a patch I can download to sort out the problem

Nero 6 was working perfectly, but I don't know what's gone wrong and can't track down the answer. I might just have to uninstall it again and do a complete clean up of my hard drive to see if that will make any difference. Don't want to have to reformat
i had this problem once but can't remember how i fixed it. 'til my memory comes back try uninstalling normally, then uninstall completely via Nero's Clean Tools, then reinstall and see what happens
Hi, thanks for that tip, never knew Clean Tools even existed. Did the trick. Reinstalled and everything's working again. Don't know what went wrong, but hey, that's computers. Very grateful, Eddie.
