Nero 6 freezes while burning a Data disc

Hi all im new here but iv heard good things and i hope u can help me.

I start downloading a Data disc about 2.6gb in size (my discs are all good and hold 4.5gb)

Iv tried on all speeds from 2x to 8x but it always freezes shortly after i start because the buffer level drops

any ideas??
