nero 6..how to burn dvd?

    i would like to know how to burn a dvd...like i downloaded it and want to burn it on a dvd to watch on my dvd player in my living room..could someone plz help me

    go to start smart select dvd at top then go to photot video and select make or modify dvd video (vr).then go to make dvd and select ur file.

    i coudnt find ....select make or modify dvd video (vr)...so could u plz help me again..maybe try to go in details or someting like that..plz..and all movies on my comp that i want to burn they are all in avi..does that matter?

    yes the nero start smart icon is what i was talking about. if u dont have the icon u will have to use the start menu. make sure u have the 6.0 ultra full edition. if u cant find it under start write back and i will guide u.

    hey
    i coudnt find the make or modify dvd video(vr)..i got all the updates i think...i got 6.6.0.12..so maybe theres an other way...

    If you want to make a video that will play in your standalone DVD player you will have to convert your files. The best program for that is DivXtoDVD and then if your file is over 4.3g you will need to use DVD Shrink to compress and you can then use Nero to burn. Here is a guide for that process.

    If your file is below the 4.3g limit you can also use Nero Vision Express that will convert, here is a guide.

    what does a dvd decrypter do?..do i really need to that?

    DVD Decrypter is a ripping and burning program. It will rip DVD movies and it will burn the output file from DVD Shrink or any other program that creates an iso file. If you plan on burning your file you need a program to burn such as Nero, Decrypter, CopytoDVD or Sonic to name a few.
