Can these both be ran simultaneously?

I doubt you can! When you install the second nero, it will override the previous installation. Unless you try somehow to install it on a different partition or something...But, just out of curiosity, why would you want that?

Why would you want to do such a thing and what would be the advantage of doing so?

    Hi Gwen!
That was an odd question, wasn't it:~)!
I am really curious about his/her intentions...

Because I can't get capture to work in Nero 7 and no one responded to my thread to help me. So instead of uninstalling it I just wanted to know if this could be done without problems. I can create another partition if needed. If you can assist in my other post I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Sorry, can't help you with video capturing as I have no experience. And again, I doubt you can have two versions of Nero working at the same time on your computer(unless you have 2 HDD and switch back and forth, that would probably work).

I do have 2 drives. Do you think that would work?

I don't know, but I think it would be a pain in the a$$. If you cannot use Nero 7, why do you want to keep it( maybe someone will help you troubleshoot that)? Is there a feature that it has and Nero 6 doesn't?

I didn't say I couldn't use it, I just said it won't capture although it's picking up a signal through the test wizard. I guess there's no certain feature that stands out that 6 doesn't have.

if you don't get an answer to your Video capturing problem, you can ask a mod to teleport your other thread to Digital Camcoders forum, or Video Capturing forum. You might get more answers there.
