nero 6 recode failure

    hi gang
    when i go to use the nero 6 recoder(im trying to save a part of a dvd
    so i can put it on a cd...i get the following message

    recode 2 encountered an error and cannot continue"
    then it says...

    "failed to open the file c/documents&settings/owner/my documents/nerovision there are no other files".
    thats all it says...any suggestions?thanks
