This is my first post here an dI have tried to search for this as much as I can, but haven't found anything specific. If I have missed please redirect me and accept my apologies! Anyway, I am using Nero 6 to play my DVD's but is has started to get jerky at the beginning. Then when it eventually gets to the menu stage is will usually play ok. What is more converning is that DVD's playedfrom my hard drive have the same problem but a DVD I burnded using the Nero Recode software within Nero 6 works fine. Beofre I strated playing burnt DVD's the software didn't jesk at all. Any idea what the problem is? Is it some sort of codec thing? Would I be better off using other software? Paul
1. I wouldnt reccommend using the Nero encoder... it gives unreliable results at best 2. Nero Showtime *should* be able to handle playback of dvds pretty well. Try PowerDVD or WinDVD to eliminate any possibilities that its the player 3. Is there an update available for Showtime?
