Hi, i have been using nero for 4-5 months now, i had to uninstall and reinstall a few times, finally got it all cleaned when i used the tools. Anyways, i have nero 6 MEGA PACK....all the plugins and so on... it burns dvds without error, but when i put it in my dvd player the timing is off, they will speak but the words wont come for a few seconds, like old godzilla movies!!! but they work fine when i play them in showtime and wmp. just when i burn it to the disk its off. i havent switched dvds or had any issues with the burner, which is brand new. So i am LOST! i tried to get new versions but nothing seems to work! ANY IDEAS!?!?! PLEASE!!! my hard drive is getting full and i need to burn these shows and movies!!!
Hi, What version of nero are you using? What brand of media are you using? Are you burning a copy of a dvd or a movie file, like .avi or the sort?
AHHHH yes those were the questions i was supposed to list...but DUHH sorry anyways, i am using nero 6 now. i did use 7 but that just gave me a huge headache. it wouldnt burn ANYTHING! I am currently using memorex 16x 4.37 DVD-R discs. I have been from teh get-go and i have burned at least 50 discs with no issues before, but i was running on the demo versions, so finally i got a nero 7 and then it just stopped working, couldnt burn worth the life of me, so i uninstalled it and cleaned it all with the nero tools. finally stopped getting nero FATAL ERROR and returned to nero 6 with all the bells and whistles. everything installed great no issues, and everything seemed to work smooth, but then i tried the disc in the same dvd player i have been using and the timing was off, and was off for the next three or four discs of completley different things. that all worked on showtime and wmp. and i even transferd to my laptop and played them on there too and it was perfect! just not when i use nero to burn the damn things! i cant win! its been like 2-3 weeks now and i cant take it! i am burning mostly avi's and such..you know...so now any ideas? i seriously want to rip my hair out.
Welcome to AD CkYdaNk First, you're gonna have to get rid of those memorex, think of the worse and they're number one. Try using verbatims or sonys. The version of nero that you should be using is 6.6.0.18 and you can download it from here: 1) http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe 2) http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Last one is for nero vision. Try using the nero cleaning tools for the version you now have, before installing the recomended version. For avi files maybe you could try ConvertXtoDVD.
