note if testing on pc fine, but if writing to CDR, your cdrw drive must support writing CD-TEXT! and in this ripping a cd to pc your drive needs to read CD-TEXT.

On the pc the only way to get actual artist, track title and other mp3/id3v2 type tags is by linking the media player to a free cddb server lookup service .. example.. http://www.freedb.org/

Cd-Text will only hold disk info not track info.

would track info be the actual file name? bob-marley.mp3/cda...

think nero can link to http://www.freedb.org/

I am having the same problem.Although, I get the error message "Sorry, the internet database does not have information about this particular cd."
I just recently installed nero 6 ultra and can get no album information.
I am correctly connected to freedb.org
I have tried several cd's (burned and non) and get the same message.
I gave freedb access to the internet through my firewall and get the same message.
The site has the information, because I had nero 8 installed and it found the cd info through freedb.org. (I removed nero 8 due to it discontinuing to find the information, and reading posts on how bloated and bugged nero 8 was.)
    Any help would be appreciated.
