I just started getting the "could not perform end of disc-at-once" error when I upgraded to the latest version of Nero. I've got an NEC ND-3540A DVD-RW and until a couple of days ago, had no problems at all burning discs with any version of Nero 6 or 7. I have: -tried older versions of Nero 7 -different media -the latest firmware for my burner -the latest ASPI drivers -defragged my hard drives Here's the log file: Any help is greatly appreciated!
I believe I figured out the problem... After testing out different burning compilations, I had no problems burning audio CDs and data CDs using disc-at-once. But I had a bootable ISO image and was trying to burn using disc-at-once, which is how I've always burned CDs. I changed it to track-at-once, and it worked fine. Maybe Nero doesn't like for some bootable CDs to be burned as disc-at-once?
I have had that problem before what i think you should do is undo the box that says disk-at-once and try your luck!
Ok, so I just reinstalled Nero 6.6.1.4, and everything works fine with disc-at-once and ISOs that didn't work in Nero 7. I'm not sure what exactly the problem was, but Nero 7 must have problems burning ISOs with disc-at-once and my burner. Looks like I'll be staying with 6.6.1.4!
