Nero 7 changing to Nero 8

    I am having an error message that prevents my Nero 7 from burning.

    NMIndexStoreSvr.exe

    I want to change to Nero 8.

    #1 Will this problem vanish if I change to Nero 8?
    #2 Do I need to do anything more than the Windows"add/remove" programs in order to uninstall Nero 7?

    Try disabling Nero Scout. It seems to be the cause of the problem.

    (Google is your friend)

    You should/might be able to shut it off by opening task manager (Ctrl+alt+delete), click 'Processes' tab, then find - NMIndexStoreSvr.exe - & turn it off/disable it.

    Try burning something after & see if all is good.
