I downloaded the Nero 7 set of help files from the Nero site. The CHM files all fail when you open them either directly or from within Nero. Anyone know how to enable them?

    Thanks

Nevermind...I figured out I have to go into properties and Unblock each file, then make sure they're in the right folders so be read.

One thing I did discover is about 5 or 6 of the applications that come with Nero7 don't have any help file on the CD or the Nero website. I guess this program was prematurely released for sale.

You will find 13 k chm files in there respective subfolders. Download the manual and put it in the respective folder, delete the 13 k file and name the download file what the 13 k file was. It seems that they all are the same name except the dounloads have ug in them that needs removed.

I also figured out this workaround. The crazy thing is, with the all the support Nero provide, they don't provide a solution for automatically installing the chm files, or even instructions for loading them manually. And of course the people who will mostly need them, are exactly those who will have the greatest difficulty figuring this out (!)

I agree, it's messy. And with Nero Ultra 7, I found I had to set permissions on the Nero folders to be able to write the chm help files into them!

(Rignt click on the folder, properties, security, then set permissions to allow write).
