I'm trying to burn a video onto DVD using Nero 7 Premium. It sits and transcodes the video, then gets to the end and just hangs. I tried leaving it overnight in case it was just being slow, but no joy. I sent the file to a laptop with the same version of Nero and a DVD writer and the same thing happened. I'm currently converting the file to mpg to see if that works, but I know I'm gonna lose picture quality so I was wondering if anyone here could help.
Hmm. It says it's Nero 7 but the actual DVD writer program is Nero 4.5.0.29. Avi playback is perfect on both computers and the same problem happened with the mpg file. I'm now using Avi2DVD to see if THAT helps, but it's looking increasingly like I'll have to give up and buy the actual official DVD from eBay!
Maybe less of a hassle just to do the ebay thing You can try another program WinAVI (free trial) & see how that goes: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/winavi_video_converter.cfm
