Here's a few things to try. Update to Nero's latest version - 7.2.0.3 (updated yesterday). In Nero Toolkit>Nero ProductSetup then click Update your Nero products. Turn DMA back on. This may be a little tricky since you have nvidia drivers. In this guide (a few pages in I think) a member posted what worked for them. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Total memory is good but the free memory needs to be freed up. Shut down any unneccessary process and no multi tasking. Latest firmware is A106. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1757 Not the best and may be part of the problem. Try switching to Verbatim or Made in Japan Fuji,Sony or Maxell. InCD can cause problems - so uninstall it and run the clean tool: http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/InCD_CleanTool.html Your drive is a little older but may be fine. Let us know how it turn out!
Well...thank you for your time! I updated my LG DVDRAM's firmware to the latest A106! No results.I got the same error! I m curently updating Nero itself... [bold]The RAM problem has to do with NERO! Everytime I try to copy or write a DVD it dries up my system resourses![/bold] [bold]INCD was unistalled right away and this didnt have any results also![/bold] As for the DMA problem,I really thought it was on ([bold]Ultra DMA 3 - Ultra 33 for the LG drive according to the Device Manager![/bold]) So,I ll try forcing it and see what happens... @Fad3In Check task manger and see what else is running. Look at the cpu usage % and memory. Then check this when running Nero. Getting the burner back on DMA may solve your write error. keep us posted!

@Fad3In Okay we still need to update Nero. Instead of clicking 'repair nero' you need to click 'update your nero products'. Eck! Need to definitely free up some memory. One thing you may want to try is disable Nero Scout - which is a resource hog according to this link. http://www.help2go.com/Tutorials/Software_Utilities/Disable_Nero_Scout_in_Nero_7.html I would also check task manager and see what else is running. Have you run a virus scan recently? How about a system defrag? InCD is still showing up. Check add or remove programs and see if it's still listed. If it is uninstall and run the clean tool. If not still run the clean toll (link in above post) Your drive still doesn't like them. Try media listed in above post. Did anything change? Media, new software etc.
