I want to burn a vcd disc of photos to view on my T.V via DVD player. The problem I am having is that Nero will only allow a maximum of 99 pics. I have used Nero 4 in the past and had no problem burning loads more photos onto disc than that. Is there any way around this using Nero 7 Burning Rom. Thanks in advance for your help and keep it basic as I dont work for NASA !!!! Thanks
Thanks for your reply. Have followed link but cant find out how to disable the menu option, any suggestions. The link said that more than 99 pics could be put on but without menu, I tried this but with vcd in dvd player only 99 pics were on. Thanks in advance for any help. All the best bobbybucc
You are saying you do not use NV4 for your slide show, but Nero Burning Rom? What template are you using for that? In order for me to check, I have to be where you are, but I don't know where that is. Just explain what procedure you use to get to the area you have the question about.
Hi again I'm not making a slide show just simply putting photos onto a cdr to make a vcd to put in dvd player. I open Nero Burning Rom 7, in New compilation box out of dvd and cd choose cd, in list down slide bar highlight vcd, select New. I then get the bow up with the vcd on the left and file browser on the right. Select files of photos, highlight them and drag over to the right side. If I do that with less than 99 pics, click burn it all works fine and get the vcd I want. I tried dragging more over got the warning box up saying max 99 allowed and burned disc but was only 99 pics on it. Hope that all makes sense. Thankls for your help, much appreciated.
OK, I went through your process, but I do not have 99 photos to use to test that part. According to the Nero site, you will get the warning but you can continue to add photos and they will be burned to the VCD. I also assume it means if you did not set it up to add a menu that you would not get the warning. When you say no more that 99 photos show up, are you using a menu (set under the Menu tab in the Compilation Properties) that only shows the 99 photos, or are you looking at the VCD to see if the photos are actually there? I suppose you may not be able to tell if they are in a VOB or something. If I had that many photos, I think I would use NV4 and set up as many titles as I needed to accomodate all the photos using 99 for each title. Say you had 350 photos, you would add 4 photos to the titles page. You would then edit each of those titles and add another 98 or whatever is left over to that title in the editing window. When you were finished, you would have a menu with 4 buttons, each containing 99 photos.
Thanks again for your help, will try the NV4 thing instead. But in answer to what you asked I did put the vcd in dvd player and only 99 pics were on, that happened with and without the menu option enabled. Once again thanks for your help, much appreciated bobbybucc
