I dont get it. My Nero 7 premium worked fine until i installed the update 7.11 from Nero.com. After the update i tried to get an AVI file that works fine (video and audio) if opened with Windows Media Player or DivX converted into DVD format and onto a DVD disc so that it can play on any DVD machine. However, i'm only getting audio. Where am i going wrong? I go to "Nero StartSmart" and click on "Make your own DVD Video." I click on "Add video file", then browse and click on the AVI file wanted. After picking a menu theme and burning the project i get no video, just audio. Also, why doesn't the vidoe show up on Nero Showtime 3? Why just the audio? Like i said before, i can view it and hear it with WMP and DivX. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
my_hero, I have had this happen before and it was always due to a corrupted file. So I just re-ripped the AVI and then converted it onto a DVD and had no further problems. Incidentally, I have lost my own copy of Nero 7 Essentials and tried to download Nero 9 to replace it and it was a nightmare. Do you know anywhere I can buy or get a download of Nero 7 Essentials? I've given up on Nero 9 and imgburn doesn't work for me.
