Nero 7 Premium question

    I'm thinking of buying nero 7 but i have a few questions:

    1)can it burn a dvd(film) straight to a dvd-r so i can back up my dvd's, like the copy entire cd tool.

    2)is it worth buying

    I use Nero a lot so I would say yes buy it. A alot of good apps to do different things.
    Now copying DVD's - if we're talking copy protected DVD's unlike most cd's Nero can't do it without something like AnyDVD (21 free trial)running in the background.
    Or the DVD can be ripped to the hard drive with a free prog like DVDFab Decrypter than processed thru an app in Nero.
