I know this a petty question but this just bugs me. When you add files to burn a dvd...you press add files (and it does add them) does nero go back and give you the option to add more files? Is there any way to turn this "feature" off? Or do you always have to just cancel? I've looked all over in Nero and couldn't find this as an option.

Just for my benefit, would you be a little more specific about which utility and version you are using?

Nero Ultra covers quite a few versions, what we require is the version number such as 7.0.8.2 or similar, Cheers

Are you asking if you go ahead and burn a selection can you go back and add more files to that compilation? If you save it before you burn you probably can. If you get to the burn window with the cancel button, I would assume if you change your mind you can go back and add files by hitting cancel. I may not understand you question exactly, but when you hit cancel, you are just not burning.

If you choose "Refresh Compilation" you get a dialog box that might help.

If you want to add more files to the DVD after you burn, you should,I suppose, make it a multisession burn.

Nero Ultra Burning Rom 7,0,1,3 Again, I'm not wanting to make a multi session dvd, I'm just adding the files from the folder and it again pops up and thinks I want to add more.

OK, I see what you mean. Try opening the File browser window (folder icon on top) and add files from there instead of selecting add files from the file menu.

If you use the add files option, can you keep the window from reopening? I don't see a setting for it.

Please understand I'm not trying to be difficult, but when you get used to a certain way of doing things that is easy for you, change is sometimes hard. When I have Nero Burning Rom open, on the left side there are 2 folders...one audio and one video. I right click on the video folder and go down to add files. I pick the movie files I want to add and it adds to the list of files in the big open white box. Nero then procedes to ask again (without my asking) to add files again. There is where you have to hit cancel and then go on. I know it's just an extra step, but my Nero (version 6.3.1.13) on my other pc doesn't do this. I like to have it as plain and as simple as can be, because when I try and explain things to family member they need is plain as can be. I don't like having the file browser open, it looks too cluttered and wont save they way I set it up when I try and use it. When I reopen Nero it reverts back to default setting...the cluttered look. Thanks for everybodys input (now and future) on my petty problem.
