Hi I have Nero 7 and a creative Zen Vision M. The MP4 files created by Nero Recode don't seem to be compatible with my player, I think it can only handle MP4 SP files. Is there an easy way to get Nero Recoded files onto the player? I've searched the web, it seems it can be done with varying degrees of difficulty, but is there any point in using Nero recode at all as it will have to be reformatted anyway (i.e. why not just use a different encoder that works in one step?). Is Creative likely to put out a software update enabling easy conversion of MP4 files to work with this player? I'm a bit annoyed as I shelled out for Nero with this purpose in mind- should have done some research, I suppose...
I have a Creative zen Vision M 60 GB I have been using cloneDVD Mobile from slysoft,the makers of AnyDVD. It can convert your VOB files into a compatible avi. This is the only program that I've ever purchased. There are other ways to convert your movies the "FREE WAY". Since it was Christmas and the program was on sale, I decided to treat myself. I don't regret it. It is a very user freindly (easy) to use program. I am not promoting this program, just telling you what I'm using.
