hi gang im still having a problem with nero7 soundtrax-it crashes once and skips while playing using the soundtrax-any ideas gang?anybody else having these same problems??thanks benbernie
In another area you mentioned you had Nero 6 installed previously. Did you use the clean tool to uninstall before upgrading to Nero 7? What type of file are you trying to play in soundtrax, or does it just crash randomly? Which template are you using in particular?
hi i have nero 6 installed as we speak-its working great.nero7 s sound trax would stall and crash when i played a file i made with nero wave editor and the sound would be intermittent.its a song-i think its an wave file in the sountrax.whats a template?i did an clean tool uninstall and then installed nero 7 and had the same problem as before the process.it crashes randomly.where would i find the drivers for ne- ro 7 on my system??it could be a drivers problem.thanks benbernie
A template just sets the program up for what you want to do. For instance, one sets it up for 7.1 sound, or 5.1, or a mixed media. That us usually the first page that opens when you start SoundTrax. What type of file did you start with, and did you encode it prior to putting into SoundTrax? If it crashes when you play the file, maybe the file is being used by another application. Maybe you have something else that conflicts with it. Maybe there is something wrong with the file, or perhaps a driver problem with your audio setup. Have you gone into WinXP's Event viewer and looked for any errors that might help track down the problem?
hi there was only nero 7 on my computer at the time.how do i check the template and or drivers??thanks ben bernie
It probably isn't a driver, and don't worry about the template. You didn't answer the question about what type file. Did you check the Event Viewer or errors?
hi your fast!where do i find the event viewer?and or the errors?what do i look 4 in them?thanks benbernie
Control Paneel-Admin tools-Event viewer. Look for any errors in the Software or System logs. They keep track by time, so make note of when the error occurred. You may just have a corrupted install and need to reinstall. But make sure you have closed the Wave Editor in case it is still using the file. Have you tried other configurations with Sound Trax that doesn't involve the same file?
