I read of all the problems, but has anybody been able to get Nero 7 Ultra to run ok on Vista Home Preimum 64 bit? I am about to jump on a new HP desktop, Intel Quad Core Q8200 with 8 gid of DDR-2 RAM, 1T hard drive and everything else. My worry is that software i have paid for like Nero, will fail to work. Officemax has this deal through Saturday at $549, no rebates and it's our sales tax holiday. Out of 21 places that one web list showed the price ran from 549 to 799 with only OfficeMax under $600. I have a 6 year old machine running XP that is getting tired.
Check out this info re: system requirements. http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-system-requirements.html Also, make sure you download the latest update to Nero 7 from the site. Earlier versions of 7 didn't work on any flavor of Vista.
I use Nero 7 on vista x64 with no problems,has to be Nero 7.6. bla bla upwards though, early versions had slight problems.
