Nero 7 Ultra causing audio problems...

I have installed Nero Ultra 7 and found that no matter which media player I use my audio sounds "squeeky" and "squaking". Ha sanyone had this problem? As soon as I uninstalled it my audio sounded fine. I use an AudigyPlatinum Ex sound card and never had this issue wirh previous Nero products. Oh, FYI. I just installed a new hard drive and loaded my XP Pro OS so there are no "old" versions on this system it is 100% clean.

 

Nero can do only one thing good = burning

So what did u install with that Nero 7?

 

Ultra 7 has all the audio and vidio hoopla as well as the burning rom. I thought I woul enjoy the versatility but can see now that it is not all that it is cracked up to be. I actually had to reload Windows media player to fix my audio issue.

Some versions of Nero 7 were in fact causing audio problems, which version are you using...please dont say Ultra version...it will be some thing like 7.?.?.?

 

Thanks, I got this from the "Auto installer" file because I have uninstalled the application for the time being.
