hey guys. I recently purchased the new nero 7 ultra. It's great. However, when i burn songs onto a cd-r, everything seems fine until I play it into my cd - player . What i Get is maybe a second of the begining part of each song cut out, and the song skips in the beginning. It's not the cd or cd player. I believe it is the program. Maybe Im doing something while burning that I shouldn't be ? can you guys help plz ? thankss !
Sounds like you may have to go trial and error to get the settings the way you want. Try settings with fade in and out and settings with the pause between tracks. If your player will read rw use them till you get it sorted.
which nero version do you have? also are you sure that you are updated to 7.0.1.4, {which is the latest version and updated to correct certain bugs that were reported with the software release} this might also correct your cd tracks skipping on cd players.
Thanks for the replies. I have the nero 7 ultra edition and I downloaded the update from the nero website. However, they required that I would have to uninstall my old nero to install the nero 7 demo ? I did it anyways and so far it hasn't asked me to insert any key or what not. I noticed, about the skipping music, when I add the music into the nero program, and i play it before hand, already, the music is altered. Even before I begin burning it, when I play it, the 1st part of the song is not there and the song skips in the begining. I tried to normalize the files, no pause btwn tracks, fade in/ out, and the 1st song had a 2 second pause to it, so i tried a zero pause and still the songs are messed up. HOW FRUSTRATING ! The old nero 6 worked much better.
