I saw Comp Usa offer Nero 7 Utlra Edition for $39.99 after rebates.

Should I grab it or wait for 8 verison??

    Thanks!

Well Nero 7 didn't come out too long ago, so I wouldn't wait for 8.
However, im my opinion, you should steer clear of Nero 7 and stick with 6. The best version to get is Nero 6.6.0.18; very stable and does everything.

That's my opinion though, some people will say Nero 7 is good, which some version are, but my view still stands ;-)

Nero are finally getting their act together with the later versions of Nero7...good versions are 7.0.8.2, 7.2.7. and 7.5.1.1 so if you purchase Nero7, you will be given a serial number and then you can decide which version you like.

Nero6, version 6.6.0.18 is the best of that series.

Why do you want to get a new version? Is it because the number is bigger or is there a specific reason? Newer is not always better - in fact, in the software world, it's usually worse, at least until the bugs are worked out.

I just purchased Nero 7 today (Free after rebate) for my lap top but noticed that it does not auto run after DVD Shrink. Any suggestions? I apologtize if this question has been addressed before and I missed it. I am currently updating the program (some 94+ MB more to go on DSL speed), will the updating fix this problem?
