I have Nero Burning Rom 7.0.1.2 and my roomate got Nero BR 7.5.7 Mine works just fine and his crahed when he burns a CD at times. Is his version faulty? Should he remove his with the Nero removal tool and install mine? I wish to thank the informative group for all the help you have given in the past to make my life so much more fun. regards, Guy Henderson
Is everything on your computers the same as far as devices and other software installations? Are you using the same media and do your burners have the lastest firmware? Maybe his is crashing for a reason other that a bug in Nero. It is fairly easy to remove and reinstall a version of Nero 7, just go to the Nero Site and download the clean tools for version 7 and then reinstall the older version. Make sure and keep your serial number. You might want to post or save the NeroHistory file or any error logs that might have been generated. Perhaps posting one would help. Make sure no serial numbers are left in the file and try to post only the last couple of burns where the errors occur.
