Nero 7 Vision Preview??

I have Nero 7.0.5.4 and am trying to make a DVD slide show, everything works fine except for the preview of the DVD. Whenever I try to preview the DVD (whether it be while editing a slide show or right before burn) I get an error that says that Nero Vision has encountered an error then it closes. It burns fine, just won't let me preview. I tried to uninstall, use cleantool, re-install but with no luck. I have also tried to install 7.0.1.4b and I get the same results. Anyone else having this problem?

edit: I should mention that this only occurs when I apply more than 15 transitions. Any fewer and the preview works fine. I know my computer is more than adequate to handle this task (specs in sig), I am completely stumped as to what this could be.
