I've just replaced Nero 7 with Nero 8;all works fine except when closing Nero 8 my CPU stays at 100%.File responsible for this is NMIndexStoreSvr.exe.I must open Task menager and stop it manually to release the CPU.Have ask Nero Support but no response so far.Any idea how to deal with this ???

Click start run msconfig choose the start-up option and see if its in the list if yes take tick out of the box next to it click apply ok restart pc when pc restarts put tick in the warning box that pops up so it doesn’t remind you every time you start your computer try that ?

Ok I’m not sure but I think that this “NMIndexStoreSvr.exe.” is something to do with Nero’s search index cant think what’s its called is it scout? Go in control panel and have a look if there is anything relating to Nero’s search index tool if so uninstall it load of crap anyway That’s in ad and remove programs if its listed uninstall it

Well, when you install Nero 8 you have an option to decline Nero Scout being installed, which I've done, but have problems anyway.I'll look for this file and try to uninstalle it.

I've fix the problem with running programe RegCure;I couldn't believe it what a mess has done install of Nero 8 to my PC.
