I've been trying to burn my videos on dvds but i haven't succeeded. At the very end of the verification I get these errors and the verification fails. I always burn at the slowest speed possible and make sure there r no other programs running when i burn dvds. But even so I already lost about 8 dvds like this. I also use good quality dvds. Can any1 tell me what could be wrong please? Try updating your firmware. http://www.cdr-info.com/Sections/Firmware/SingleModel.aspx?DriveId=1177 And burn at 6x or 8x. Take a magnifying glass to the discs in a room with very bright light. Look for some letters and numbers around the inner hub and post it here.
I'm out of dvds for the moment. as soon as I get more I'll take a look.(that will b from 8 to 15 days from now)
Did you actually try viewing these disks on your standalone or even your computer? Or are you relying solely on the fact that it failed verification and pitching it before trying it? Most burning program verifications are hit and miss.
I did test the disks I burned to see if my videos were badly burned. It turned out they were. so yeah, I disposed of them.
i've updated my nero to ver 9 and i have updated my frameware. it didn't work. i even tried using nero burning room insted of nero express. it looks like my phisical dvd drive may b damaged. i'll have to have it checked.
