It could be the media have you tried it at 8x instead of 16x? If it doesn't help, try burning your project with IMGBURN. DO you have any issues with USB devices in the device manager ?
thanks, i will try a better media but it was slow with 2 different dvd types.I unistalled then reinstalled the drivers and I just burned something successfully.I will buy a quality dvd and burn another project and see what happens.IMG burns ts files and is free?don't think I knew that.I tried burning dvd shrink after the problem started and that had trouble also.I'll see what happens in a bit.thanks for your ideas ps it didn't matter what speed I selected jack
thanks for the img info might come in handy.my issues seemed to be resolved with the driver reinstall ,back to normal.I start to panic when I can't write dvds or cds.appreciate you taking the time for me regards jack
burning discs just fine now.the only issue i have is encoding the dvd to the hd is super slow.this is not just nero however.dvd decrypter took about an hour vs 10 minutes usually.very weird.I tried a few diff dvds to copy but they all took a long time to copy thanks
