Does anyone have any suggestions with this problem? When I try to burn a BD-RE 2X disc Nero reports that it will take about 45 minutes to do 23GB of data..... However it end up taking 3 hours! I have a Abit IP35 Pro MB with a Core2 Duo running at 3.2Ghz and 4GB of RAM. Using a Seagate SATA 3.0GB/S drive along with an LG GGW-H20L burner and Verbatim BD-RE 2X disc. Nero 8 Ultra is the program being used althought I don't think it is the program hanging me up. Maybe the SATA drive isn't sending data fast enough but the buffers seem to be full??? Any help would be appreciated...I can't be the only one who has ever had this problem??? Thank you, Michael
Hard to believe that that I am the only one with this problem....? Can a BD-RE 2X disk limit write speed to 1X even though you can select a 2X speed in the recording software (Nero, ImgBurn)? My LG GGW-H20L will only burn the the Blu-ray 2X disk at 1X and it takes about 3 hours to do so. Is there a fix for this problem.....anyone??? Michael
Have patience Michael, sooner or later you'll get a reply. If you make further posts without a reply from anyone...the mods just might give you a reply that you don't want.
The problem has been solved thanks to Ian on the CDRLABS forum! http://www.cdrlabs.com/forums/post174579.html#p174579 Michael
