I've got Nero 8 Ultra, and I bought the HD DVD plugin for authoring purposes. Everything was working fine until I updated Nero to the most recent version. Now, whenever I choose HD DVD or mini-HD DVD, no matter what file I add to the project the meter always reads "0"(zero). I can take these same files and add them to a regular DVD project and they show up as 2 gigs, 3 gigs, etc. Has anyone else experienced this odd issue? I am contemplating contacting Nero support, but don't expect much help. I'll probably just uninstall the app, the reinstall and just not update.
hi this is a new one on me, reloading without the update seems good for now... nero support aint brilliant... try installing the plugin again maybe to the new version update? shot in the dark though
Yeah, I just pretty much reinstalled it and have left it at that. This time around I did the Nero Cleaner app, cleared out everything. I may attempt the update at some point again, but not any time soon. I notice that a LOT of other Nero features crash after the update(stuff like video capture, etc). Really sucks, but then again when they don't actively tell you what the update adds/improves/fixes, it's hard to get a grip on why anyone should actually update.
