Nero-9.4.26.0_update hangs

    I just downloaded the latest Nero patch Nero-9.4.26.0_update.exe and it hangs right after it unpacks the CABs.

    Anybody else have this problem?

    Did you first a Nero remove with
    Nero General-CleanTool?

    Acually, no because ths is an update patch.

    Apparently Setupx was deadlocking on C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log.
    I had to go into My-Computer, Services and temporarily shutdown Automatic Updates (Windows); once it dropped the lock, I was able to run the Setupx.

    However, when it actually got into the install, it had a blank Product list and installed nothing.

    Has anybody been able to install this update?

    Yes,

    Do what I said.
    If you look at the Nero site you will see
    that the trial and the update are the same.
