I have Vista 64 newly installed with Nero 9 with all updates.
Every time I burn a DVD, it shows successfully burned, but will not play on the PC or DVD player of any kind.
The error message on the PC says "The disk or file folder you have selected does not contain a valid DVD-Video, SVD or VCD file structure." The file structures seem OK with the VOB and IFO files.
I burned a combination HD video files and 640-480 on the same DVD.
    What is the problem?

So you ran them through Nero Vision and created DVD compliant files first?

Yes, I went through the mail menu to create a DVD.

It appears to have all the standard BUP, VOB and IFO files.
What is unusual is that VOB files on my other DVDs previously burned show as thumbnails and can be played by Nero 9. The VOB files created by Nero 9 do NOT show as icons and cannot be played by Nero 9
