I downloaded Nero 9 last week after several tries, then had trouble with the third-party activation. Now that all of this is settled, I still can't burn a disc. I'm trying to burn a SVCD and receive an encoding error one-two minutes every time I try. This is the log, please help.

Okay, I deleted a lot of programs and stopped the background programs. That leaves me with 72% memory in use. I'm still getting this error, and the Nero tech support won't respond to my emails.
I guess I'll buy a flash drive and move all of my mp3s there, but I'm afraid that won't even leave me enough memory.

Its RAM memory you need, not free space on your hardrive.
