    Hello,

I need some help locating the backup folder on my harddrive. In the instructions it said, a back up is additionally put in a back up folder on my hard drive, in addition to the dvd drive that I indicate.

I can't find that backup folder. I would actually like to save space and remove it.

Also, after taking so long to back-up, I got burn process successful. But for data verification I got error messages.

I am working on Windows XP with dvd/cd drive. Nero Burning ROM SE, OEM version, backit up ! version 1.2.0.32. Full backup, compressed files size 1.4a7 gig.

    Please help!

    1) Don't worry about the additional backup file. It's very small since it just contains information about the saved files, not the files itself.

    2) There a two possible causes for errors in the verification process:
    - some of the saved files have been changed between saving and verification. In this case make sure none of the files that are included in the backup are open and close all programs that might use these files. E.g. if you try to backup your "Documents and settings" folder, exclude the ntuser.dat file.
    - there's a hardware problem with your burner or/and the media type you use. In this case try other media types and/or reduce the burning speed.

If this doesn't help supply more detailed information about the error messages.

Thanks, I can relax now. That makes more sense that the file is informational not a copy of the back up.

I will take your advice next time I try to back up.

    thanks.
