i just backed up about 3.65gb of music using nero backup. i put it on a sony 16xdvd-r (mij) i can see where it was burnt to the disc, i put it in the drive to see whats there and it doesnt load.am i doing something wrong or is there something other than just sticking it in the drive and wait for autoplay to kick in??? i know this sounds stupid but i have never backedup music like this before???....

Hi cincyrob, I never used that part of Nero either, but if I'm not mistaken, the backup files you created can only be accessed by the RESTORE feature in Back-it-up. If you wanted a disc that could be played in any PC then a better choice would have been a CD or DVD data disc. For example, you could save all your MP3's onto a data cd that will show up as MP3's on all PC's. The back it up program is for saving and restoring areas of the HD incase of damaged or lost data. I'm not sure on this but I think Nero saves the info in a way that only Nero can restore it to the HD again. I'm not completely sure if this is correct or not, but I think it is.

OK now we're on the same page...if your files are on your HD then open StartSmart, Select DVD, then Audio, here you can select the following.
    Make mp3 DVD
    Make wma DVD
    Nero Digital Audio DVD
