Nero burn fails - see log

    I've upgraded my firmware on my DVD drive (SONY DRU-800A) and I've upgraded to the lastest version of NERO. See log below. Any thoughts?

    I know you're not going to like this but I have looked through the log and cant find anything wrong.

    , this is all I can find and I dont know what it means, sit back someone will come along now that the thread is at the top.

    Thats pointing to the write stratigy its using to write the disk. It then goes on to say
    That leads me to think its not realy the disk but the write stratigy for 6x. So try to slow it down to 4x or speed it up to 8x to see if write stratigy for 4x or 8x will be better for those disk.

    I would personally go back to version 6.6.0.18, the latest version that you are using has yet to have all the wrinkles ironed out. I rarely update until needed...if it ain't broke don't fix it.

    Still getting the illegal disc error. I would try another speed again(maybe 8X) or another brand of discs...I suggest Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Sony, Fuji, Maxell(made in Japan).

    i agree on the media..

    i did check it out on videohelp.com and mixed results and bad results
