Nero has done this error a for a few different movies, all backed up by DVD Shrink. I have no idea what the problem is because sometimes it works and then sometimes, like now, it doesn't. Okay problem solved. For now. I looked over some other forum posts that weren't directly related to mine and decided to try & update my firmware. And it worked!
dlp86 hi whilst you are here, a few things for future reference. close more applications to free up more memory, you're in virtual memory territory which means your hard disc will be 'swapping', therefore interfering with the burn. you really need at least 256Mb of free memory your burning a tad close to the edge of the disc where the dye is uneven/missing. set your target at 4360 not a good media. these are made by TDK who no longer manufactuer media, so are probably now made by CMC Mag (which are even worse) to the TTH02 spec's. there are also a lot off fakes being produced at the moment under the same ID. try some good media ie. Verbatim....Taiyo Yuden or Ritek (if you use Ritek ensure you use their brand names Ritek....Ridata...Traxdata) far to fast, especially with the above media. try to burn at around 1/2 the Max rating of the media
