I have been using dvd shrink for a while and everything has always worked fine, however I just got a new computer and I cant seem to get it to work now. Everytime it gets to burning with nero, something screws up and I have to scrap the whole dvd. I was wondering if somebody could look at this log and see why its screwing up. Thanks. Hum. I'm actually not that good at reading Nero logs. Hopefully, someone more experienced like Creaky will see this post. ps. This post should be in the Nero Discussion instead.
@Nick600 - lol thread teleported to Nero forum.. - sufficient total memory but free memory could be better, make sure to always close down more programs prior to ALL dvd work/burning to ensure sufficient free memory - you're burning too close to outer edge of discs. Set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences thus avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space - CMC are atrocious quality discs however this is a rewritable so might be more forgiving than a write-once disc - try erasing the disc before next burn attempt, seems Nero had a problem this time - sdee previous comment - too slow, no need to go so slow unless the disc only supports 1x - a-ha, the ATAPI drivers should be listed in this section, fix via the DMA info here - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm
