Nero Burn Problem

    This is the error message I get with my when I try to burn. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on. I updated Nero 7 Ultra to Premium and haven't been able to burn since then.

    Looks like when you installed Nero 7 you didn't wipe out Nero 6.
    Uninstall Nero - run the clean tools for 6 & 7 then reinstall 7.

    Firmware is up to date but the last support on this drive was 5/04 - may be part of the reason was you are receiving a power calibration error
    The discs you are using are good stuff MCC 16x but since this in an older drive w/ no recent support - 16x media may give it a problem.
    Try media w/ a rated burn speed of 8x or lower.

    Cleaning the lens of the drive w/ a lens cleaner or compressed air might help too.

    Way too much memory in use. No multitasking and shut dowen any unecessary programs.

    Might also want to check the connections of the drive to - make sure all secure - power and ide cable.
