Hello, I recently bought Nero Express, and have attempted to burn mp3s onto Verbatim 52X CD-R, with Windows 95. Nero successfully burns a CD, but when I test it on both a CD player & CD-Rom Drive, the disc is unreadable (CD keeps spinning). Thinking the disc wasn't burned properly, I run Nero to check the disc's contents, finding a 0Mb used reading, as well as a conflicting error msg. Can someone help me troubleshoot? I would definitely appreciate it! Iris.
1. Try burning slower 2. Does the audio cd play on the computer you burned it on? 3. Are you trying to test the cd on an older portable cd player/system? Some older ones dont like the newer media.
Thanks for your help. The Norcent burner is listed as 52x24x52, but when I hook it up with the Nero Express program, the fixed burn speed is 4x (600 kbs/s), and there's no option to change the writing speed. When the burner does burn successfully, the audio CD is not detected by any computer / conventional CD player. Is it possible that the problem lies in the CD brand itself? Curently the CD brand I'm using is Verbatim CD-R, 1x-52x (80 minutes, 700MB). Thanks in advance! Iris.
Praetor, Thanks for your help. My little brother did research after your ASPI response, seems like that was the problem. It's now up and running -- Thanks again. Iris.
