i have nero 6.6.1.4 but wanted to burn files mpg to dvd nero will not do this. so i tried like a dozen converters with no success. then i tried dvd authoring wich led me to download a movie edited by ddp from limewire. with it i successfuly burned a mpg to dvd without any irritating watermark. new problem dvd plays in home dvd player but there is no sound. i just recently bought my first computer about 9 days ago. have been totaly confused by this dvd stuff. a little help

well this is one really great post but you fail to give us all the details and you also mention a few things that you would be wise to edit before a mod does it for you.

Your encoder suxs and thats probably the who;e issue unless of course the file you downloaded didnt have audio in the 1st place.

Can you download avicodec, run your file through it and post the results.

Next while your posting that also include your pc stats

And finally a little manners like please wouldnt hurt your case but then again other members may just bypass your questions

ungratefl, don't mention the movie's name as that is piracy which is mentioned in the forum rules above. thread moved to correct forum.
