I searched this forum and didn't see any topics on this issue I'm having. I am trying to burn a DVD directly from the files in a VIDEO_TS folder (VOB etc) and the write process keeps failing part way through. I have tried on slower write speeds, I've tried on another DVD-writer drive I have, all with no luck. What is curious to me is that I have done this before with no issue. Why is it not working now? I tried burning an image (.iso) file to DVD and that works fine. I've done many of those in the past. Can anyone provide a suggestion? I know it's not a drive issue because both DVD writers I have are behaving the same way for VIDEO_TS burn. My DMA is on "DMA if available" in the IDE device manager. Hi If i have the same problem i usually reencode the video, did you rip the video yourself, or download the movie? Try nero recode
Worked like a charm. The DVD was a download from a torrent site and it may have had problems. Really appreciate the help.
