Nero burning problem

    Hi, everyone. im having problems with burning dvds with nero. i think is my dma isn't turn on but when I go to the device manager and ide channels, there is no advanced tab so I cannot access the DMA settings.

    Nero 6.6.1.4

    This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version, BOTH packages

    im downloading the packages now and im going to install them. i dont have the advance tab in the ide channels so i cant access the DMA settings. Instead of Primary IDE channel, mine is called Primary DMA channel is there any different way to turn it on?

    Just try burning with the new version of 6.6.0.18 and see how you go.

    tried to burn but is got that buffer too large msg again.....any other ways to turn the dma on? maybe with dos?
